Cool Down
A 5-10 minute cool down should be used after a workout to help speed up the the recovery of the muscles and bring the mind/body back to a balance. Typically we choose the major muscle groups and perform 30-second stretches on them. The exercises are the classic grade-school stretches we used to do. Nothing fancy!
Box-breathing is another form of getting your body & mind back to equilibrium. 4 second inhale, 4 second hold, 4 second exhale, 4 second hold, and repeat this for 1-4 minutes.
